Matthew Matt James, born December 5, 1991 from North Carolina. He is a mixed-race kid of Manny James, and Patty James. The father of Manny James is Nigerian and his mother caucasian American. James graduated in 2010 at Sanderson High School. In 2015, James earned a Bachelor of Economics degree from Wake Forest University. James gained fame when the show The Bachelorette as a reality TV celebrity. In 2020, he was chosen to be the next bachelor for The Bachelor's season 25, making him the first African American male lead which was later aired in 2021. James is a perfect fit for the part because his appealing, well-rounded, and large-bodied personality. Rachael Krukconnell turned into his love interest at the end of season. James teamed up with famous dancing star Arnold in 2021 and competed in the 30th season of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold placed 12th on the show.
